PGA Master Professional
Jim Sheerin’s golf career began at the age of 11 as a caddie at Andover Country Club in Andover, Massachusetts. By the time he was 14, he had worked his way up to caddie master and then up to managing the bag room at the Andover club, and he knew his life’s work would be in golf.
In 1972 Jim became a PGA member, and in 1995 he joined a select group of golf professionals when he achieved the status of PGA “Master Professional”.
After 40 years as the head golf professional at Abenaqui Country Club Jim continues his passion for teaching the game to players of all abilities.
The Oaks is truly fortunate to have Jim as one of our teaching professionals.
Jim’s private lessons run 50 minutes and can be tailored to any aspect of the swing, or the game; he is available for private one-on-one lessons every Thursday from 2 to 4 pm.

Jim’s Clinics are one-hour sessions every Thursday from 5 to 6 pm. Each clinic will be focused on a specific aspect of the game.
