Since 1905, the NHGA has served amateur golf in the state of New Hampshire. While many people may
think they have a general understanding about what the NHGA does and how it serves the game, our
organization is consistently evolving and looking for new and innovative ways to reach more golfers across
the Granite State. Through handicap administration, Rules of Golf education, and tournament programs the NHGA offers a wide range of products and services for member clubs and individual golfers alike.

NHGA members come in all shapes and sizes; from the top players in the state to those that have just
taken up the game. The common thread however, is that all have established a GHIN handicap at an NHGA member facility. This allows our members to enjoy many benefits including the ability to participate in NHGA tournaments, a subscription to NH Golf Magazine, and discounts/special offers with many of our partners. The support of our members over the years has allowed the NHGA to evolve into a more inclusive organization.

The NHGA is still very much involved in tournament administration, however our tournament offerings
have expanded over the course of the last few years. Once limited to players with low handicaps, the
NHGA now offers playing opportunitiesto golfers of all skill levels. Our one day Tournament Series events,
Four Ball tournaments, and our annual Parent-Child tournament are open to any NHGA member with an
active handicap. These events are held across the state and offer a fantastic opportunity to participate in
a low-stress and fun environment. In addition, we continue to conduct Championship events that will
identify the top golfers in New Hampshire. The Boys State Junior, Mid-Amateur Championship, Senior
Championship, and New Hampshire Amateur Championship feature the top players from the Granite
State.

While tournament programs are certainly the most visible aspect of our operations, we serve our
membership in various other ways. We frequently field questions from individual members as to the role
of handicapping and its importance to the game. We also provide educational seminars on the Rules of
Golf and actively seek out those interested in giving back to the game through volunteerism.

As a 501(c)(3), the NHGA understands the importance of safeguarding and growing the game. With that
in mind, the NHGA operates the Adaptive Communications Junior Golf Tour. The tour is open to boys and
girls ages 10-18 and caters to beginners and more experienced players alike. Membership in the tour is
just $25 and all players receive a personalized bag tag, towel, and sleeve of golf balls. Individual events
start at just $10 making the ACJGT one of the cheapest youth sports programs in New Hampshire.
